How do I get started?

Each new property is allocated its own property number and is listed in your property profile. All future editing is done via that page using the edit button alongside the appropriate property.

Step 1. Register if you have not already done so. You will be sent an e-mail to verify your address. Follow it's instructions and return to 'my profile'.

Proceed to 'property profile' then to 'add new property'; select 'full page advertisement' option (£99) and tick the option box for a URL. Follow the instructions on how to add your property. Ensure you utilise fully all the options available, paying particular attention to quality photos, accommodation, rental rates and availability. Access rental rates and availability via the tabs at the top of the property summary page.

Step 2. Add a personalised domain name (URL) i.e. turn your advertisement into an internet searchable website. Navigate to site control via the tabs at the top of the page. Follow the instructions on this page to select a domain name, layout / theme and personalised e-mail addresses. Preview, when happy, press 'Publish'. You will now be taken to a pro-forma invoice. Review and edit as necessary, (current offers will be pre-populated) you will see you can choose to include your property into other short listed indexes (i.e. Golf or Ski at an additional charge), recalculate to see the effect of changing your options. When content, click publish to take you to the payment page. Complete the payment process.

Your advertisement will appear on french-owners-direct.com immediately, whereas your website via its URL will take up to 48hrs to register and publish on the internet. We will register the domain name and set our servers to recognise it and forward your chosen e-mail addresses to your internet service provider. Congratulations you now have a personalised website and distinctive e-mail addresses.

Should you wish to create a second website for a different property return to 'my profiles' then click 'add new property'; select 'full page advertisement' (£99) and tick the option box URL. Our system will recognise you are entitled to the reduced price (£28) for the advertisement + URL (£40) = £68 for your second website. Continue as described before.
